Author of the infamous fruit beer comment, he is also a long term volunteer assistant brewer for the Jaipur restaurant and brewpub. Married 24 years to "a truly beautiful girl", he has 2 sons and is a critical care RN. Floyd Prine, Vice President: A new member to the club. Anxious to learn everything about homebrewing. Have been making kits and recipes for three years with two grown sons, Chris and Alex. Married 32 years to best friend Carol and also have daughter Jackie. Whole family appreciates quality beers and ours is a group effort. Works for OPPD as an Account Executive, same floor as Elliott, but don't hold that against him. Plans on working diligently to keep scheduled activities updated and members informed. John Fahrer, Treasurer. John has been a member of the OmaHops since 2000, and has been homebrewing since 1986. He loves the art of homebrewing and has been an active competition homebrewer since the early 90s. He has won numerous awards in regional and national competitions, including best-of-show at the 1996 NHC in New Orleans, where he was named the AHA Homebrewer of the Year. An active judge, he is a member of the BJCP and currently holds a "National" certification level. He is Director of Facilities & Distribution for PayFlex Systems USA, Inc. Alan Torrell, Secretary. Chris Miller, Assistant to the Regional Manager. Chris has been a member of the OmaHops since 2009, and while his first batch was brewed in 1998 there was a 7 year hiatus before batch number two. Chris really got "into" the hobby in 2005. Chris will be working on upgrading the clubs web presence this year. |
